Across Victoria and South Australia, Hygge's projects continue to progress through construction, sales, planning and design.
From new homes taking shape in established neighbourhoods to planning approvals and emerging development opportunities, there has been a number of significant milestones across the portfolio.
Construction of Lyons Place is complete, delivering 58 apartments and two townhouses in Ballarat Central. Residents have settled into their new homes, while the opening of café Prey has brought new activity to the restored heritage building on Lyons Street North.
The project has also been named a finalist in the Marketing category of the 2026 UDIA Victoria Awards for Excellence, recognising the A Place to Call Home campaign developed for Lyons Place.
Completion of the seven boutique apartments marks the final stage of The Bottleworks redevelopment, following the earlier completion of 33 townhomes.
The project was recently recognised at the Geelong Heritage Awards in the Restoration of a Heritage Place and Creative Reuse of a Heritage Place categories and named as a finalist for the UDIA Victoria Urban Renewal Award.
New homes continue to emerge across Middleton Field, including recently completed builds by Ardel and JV Dodd. Builder partnerships continue to develop, with remaining titled land and home packages available alongside ongoing landscaping and public realm improvements.
Within The Village, construction of the Central Townhouses is complete, with one final home remaining available. Three Northern Townhouses have sold ahead of construction commencing, with regional builder Fox Building Group appointed to deliver the next stage. Planning continues for the future Southern Townhouses.
With both land stages now titled, construction activity continues at The Roads, with further homes underway and new residents moving into the neighbourhood. Remaining titled homesites continue to be offered for sale.
The restoration of more than 10 acres of adjoining reserve, including extensive revegetation was recognised at the 2026 Ballarat Environmental Stewardship Awards, with The Roads receiving the Community Environment Group Award.
Planning approval has been secured for Chisholm Green, a collection of 38 architecturally designed townhouses in Ballarat's Black Hill neighbourhood.
Designed by Nathan Porter Architects, the development responds to the site's undulating landscape, with smaller clusters of homes arranged around landscaped streets and generous shared green spaces.
With planning approval in place, detailed design and consultant coordination and marketing are progressing, alongside pre-construction planning and procurement as the project moves towards launch and delivery.
Plans for Little Ryrie Street continue to evolve, following the acquisition of an adjoining property that has expanded the development opportunity in central Geelong.
The larger site provides greater scope to consider the design and future development of the project, with design development progressing and further planning approvals being sought.
Planning approval is in place for Bakery Hill, with further progression currently on hold while market conditions stabilise.
Unley Road | Malvern, Adelaide
Planning approval has been secured for Hygge's first residential development in Adelaide, marking an important milestone following several years of work in South Australia.
Designed in collaboration with Woods Bagot, the proposed mixed-use development at Unley Road, Malvern, includes 68 apartments alongside commercial and retail uses, within one of Adelaide's established inner-city neighbourhoods.
The approval establishes a basis for the next phase of design development and project assessment, with further work underway to determine the future delivery of the project.
Stephen Terrace | St Peters, Adelaide
Design development continues with architect Cera Stribley for a proposed four-level, mixed-use apartment project in St Peters. The early architectural render below offers a first look at the proposed design, featuring curved architectural forms, generous balconies and integrated landscaping that respond to the established character of the neighbourhood.
A planning application is currently under assessment by the City of Norwood Payneham & St Peters, with a potential project launch in 2027.
Alongside its established development pipeline, Hygge is progressing three new significant and exciting opportunities across Geelong, Ballarat East and Daylesford.
Each has the potential to become a place-defining project, with early work focused on exploring the opportunities presented by the sites and shaping their future development.
