The Village build starts

A major milestone has been reached at The Village in Daylesford, with construction now underway!

Designed by leading sustainable architecture firm Breathe, The Village includes 31 townhouses thoughtfully arranged across four distinct blocks — North, Central, South, and East.

The first stage of construction is focused on the Central Homes, with slabs poured and framing in progress.

The build is being delivered by Langdon Living, a regional builder known for sustainable townhouse projects including The Paddock in Castlemaine.

Located within the new Middleton Field neighbourhood, The Village is designed to blend naturally into its surroundings and reflect Daylesford’s rich character and history.

As part of its commitment to community, The Village includes homes acquired by Women’s Property Initiatives a not-for-profit housing provider. The homes, partially funded by Homes Victoria’s Big Housing Build and generous donors, will provide long-term, secure rental housing for women in the Daylesford region. Read more HERE.

Celebrated for its strong environmental focus, The Village was awarded the inaugural REA Group Award for Excellence in Sustainability last year. The all-electric homes feature sustainable design, responsibly sourced materials, and a smaller footprint—supporting carbon-neutral living. Read more HERE.
