2025 - A busy year, team updates
In between celebrating project milestones and progressing new launch programmes, the team realised it had missed sharing the Hygge yearly wrap for 2025. In fairness, it was a very full year.
Across regional Victoria and in Adelaide, 2025 brought several achievements for Hygge and the projects the team have been busy working towards delivering.
Middleton Field received national attention, with the 2025 season of The Block taking place within the new Daylesford neighbourhood. Alongside this activity, the project continued evolving, with landscaping progressing and construction of several new homes and the Central townhouses at The Village (now finished, with residents moved in).
Lyons Place reached completion, with residents moving into their new homes and the building alongside new cafe Prey now an active part of Ballarat Central. In South Geelong, work continued at The Bottleworks with the transformation of the former Geelong Glass Works factory into apartments progressing toward its final stages (and also recently completing).
Behind the scenes, a lot of significant work was underway on future projects, including progressing design and planning for Hygge’s two inner-city Adelaide sites, exploring new opportunities in Geelong and preparing the Chisholm Green townhouse project in Black Hill ahead of its launch later this year.

Outside of project work, the year also included the team attending many industry events and conversations through UDIA, PCA and VPELA. One highlight included Tennille and Adam attending the Buninyong Sustainability Festival to speak about delivering sustainable townhouse projects within regional areas.
The team were proud to be recognised as finalists in the Property Council of Australia Regional Team of the Year Awards, while Lyons Place was named as a shortlisted finalist in the UDIA Victoria Awards for Excellence in the Mid-Rise Apartments category. The start of 2026 also brought an important personal milestone with James getting married to the lovely Viv in February. See below photos from the day at St Hubert’s in the Yarra Valley.
Looking back, 2025 was a significant year for the Hygge team, with construction now completed across several major projects. Most rewarding has been seeing residents move into their new homes and watching projects transition to new places taking on a life of their own.
